Question Prebuilt System for Gaming and Content Creation (video editing)

Hello,

I am in Canada, with much less selection than the US. And with duties, dollar conversion, and shipping - not going ot be worth it.

Looking for newer prebuilt systems that either use the newest AMD cpu/gpu or Intel NVIDIA .. or a mix.

It will used for gaming and video editing.

I want it to last for a while (7-8 years) and thinking of going high the higher end cpus and gpus.

Asking if is the gap between the 4080-4090 is that big of a deal? Or 7900 XT vs XTX?
Decent price range (after 2020 I am very wary about prices and gouging!)

Looking at about 64 GB ram
2 TB SSD + 4TB HD

I have looked at Dell and Newegg. Any other suggestions?

No, I am done building PCs....

Thoughts, experiences or suggestions?

If you have the money to spend, then the RTX4090 is top dog, add that with the fact that the RX7000 series is having a small cooling issue. BestBuy? CanadaComputers?

I heard the 4090 had melting issue as well.
Both BB & CC don't have any AMD cpu/gpus

And prices for i13 CPU and 3080ti is almost the same price as an i13/4090 from Alienware. But I'll give CC a call and haggle!

The melting issue was due to an improper seating on the 12VHPWR connector on the GPU.
