Hello I'm looking for a PC setup for gaming that has everything except the video card. I currently have an Omen 30L with a 3090 in it. The problem is heat on the CPU specifically. It gets way too hot when I play games. 93c just the other day playing Starfield on High settings. I hate having to monitor my temps all the time and worrying about my cpu overheating if I game too much.

I made a thread about a year or two ago when I first bought this PC and was told that the Omen 30L has horrible airflow. I was advised to install another 130mm fan I believe. But I am not very savvy working with small parts and am afraid I would break or mess something up.

So I'm trying to see what kind of price it's going to run for a good PC setup with good airflow and parts without a video card since I plan to just put the 3090 in it.

Thanks

If you want to improve temperatures, then just move your pc to a different pc case (high airflow case with mesh front) and install a better cpu cooler. Any pc repair shop can help you with that.

That is certainly going to be way less expensive, then purchase of a completely new pc.

I looked into that and I'm pretty sure that a new case would mean a new motherboard and CPU as well. I believe the Omen 30L's motherboard is attached to the case or something dumb like that.

No. It's a standard mATX board with all standard connections.
May be only with with front panel connections you may have some issues figuring out, how to properly connect them.
But if you're giving this job to pc repair shop, they certainly can figure it out.

It actually doesnt have to be a prebuilt. I just wasn't sure where to post this.
