Precautions before getting new GPU

I really want a new graphics card because i have a single fan GTX 750 :/ But here's the catch, I'm not sure if it will fit in my build because of its size and i don't know if my power supply gives enough wattage for the whole build...So if i have to upgrade my power supply i wont really mind.

Here's my build
8 GB ddr3 ram
GTX 750
core i7 4790 k (stock cooler)
gigabyte Z97 Ultra durable
and a 500w 80 bronze+ PSU
Case : gigabyte gzg g1+ with 2 extra side fans

Depends on the card and quality and SPECS of PSU.
