Precision 490x Gaming Motherboard

When I was in high school I refurbished a Dell precision 490x through this program and I wanted to gut it and turn it into a beast. I need as much help as I can get as I've neever built a computer before and I'm trying to get all the required parts together. From some research online I've determined it may be a btx format motherboard. How would I tell if the pin holes will fit? Can I create my own pinholes? Thanks.

Don't think so, but I maybe wrong, because the MB wiring will look like this: http://healthyman.me/wp-content/uploads/geiop-motherboard-wiring-diagram.gif when you make the own holes you may cut of smoe od wires.
