Not sure if this is better here as software, or video hardware section.
So for weeks now I been dealing with VLC crashing during video playback or even while paused. I couldn't figure it out. I spent days reinstalling, using different versions even reinstalling windows. I tried windows media player, different codec packs and other lesser known video players I found suggested online. Nothing fixed it.
Suddenly it just dawned on me this evening that the only recent software I started using I never used before was Precision X. I went ahead and closed Precision X and now none of my media players crash at all.
A google search revealed other's complaining of the same issue but they are a bit old. How is this not a big issue affecting everyone else and being fixed? Considering I used Windows 8.1, Windows 7 and Windows 10 complete clean installed and this occurs the second Precision X is running, I don't see how this isn't happening to everyone.
