I have an HP Pavillion ZD8000 laptop with a broadcom 802.11 b/g WLAN and am
looking for a wireless router that will take advantage of Pre-N/MIMO/G+
technology.

Have been looking high and low but cannot find which of the new routers has
a broadcom chipset so as to be compatible. The older Belkin and Buffalo have
the broadcom chipsets (i think!), but do these new pre-N routers from the
same manufacturers have broadcom?

What are my options to be compatible and get the most bandwidth on my (soon
to be) wireless network?

Hi
To use pre802.11n "Speed" you need a pre802.11n Router and client card.
An 802.11g Clinet would not work faster using a pre802.11n Router.
Jack (MVP-Networking).
