Hi, I'm getting ready to upgrade and replace my motherboard (w/ msi), cpu (w/ intel), and ram for my system and was wondering what steps I should take beforehand. What I mean is, I don't really have any important data or applications on my computer for the time being, so I don't have a need to backup anything. I assume that when you install a new motherboard, you'll have to reinstall everything from scratch, and I'm fine with doing so. Regardless, are there any steps I should take before replacing the motherboard? Do I have to uninstall certain drives (if so, what exactly?) or wipe my system in preparation? This is my first time replacing my motherboard so I'm trying to get all information beforehand. Thanks.

If you don't want to reinstall Windows, see below. If you plan on reinstalling Windows, just back up anything you deem important (save games, music, documents, pictures, etc) and when you go to reinstall windows, it'll take care of wiping the drive for you. You won't need to delete anything before hand.
