Hi All,

Having trouble preparing a graph (with text) image for use as a still
in a video (PAL DV) which I am preparing in Final Cut Pro. When I
import it, it looks fine, but when I put it onto the time line it goes
all fuzzy. (I am exporting an image from excel.) I have tried to
follow instructions from Ken Stone but unsuccessfully - some specific
guidance would be great!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

- Harry

Check the resolution settings for your timeline. They are probably set
to "low".

cheers

You can get problems with imported graphics to when they're mapped to an
interlaced video screen.

Try applying FCP's "deinterlace" filter to the graphics in your timeline.

That often helps "stabilize' images that go fuzzy because they have
content that's trying to "share" adjacent interlace lines.
