Presario62 showing dark screen

Hello,
i installed windows updates and restarted my computer. It displays dark screen after restartimg it it . What might be the problem?? please help

If Windows update messed up the drivers, you should still be able to get into Safe Mode (press F8 during startup), and do something about it, e.g. remove the recent driver update, or remove current driver and install previous/downloaded from laptop support site, or even initate a System Restore (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/products/features/system-restore) if there's a recent restoration point.
