Who whould have thought all you had to do to move these chips off of the shelf was offer the customer a free one of <A HREF="http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproductdesc.asp?description=00-999-254&DEPA=0" target="_new">these!</A>

Abit IS7 - 2.8C @ 3.4 - Mushkin PC4000 (2 X 512) - Sapphire 9800Pro - TT 420 watt Pure Power
Samsung 120gb ATA-100 - Maxtor 40gb ATA - 100
Sony DRU-510A - THAT'S MORE LIKE IT!

That just may be the ugliest thing I have ever seen (Ok maybe not the ugliest, but it would be up there).

Could I get one of these instead?

Great another reason for kanavite to compel people to buy prescott. What next.

If I glanced at a spilt box of tooth picks on the floor, could I tell you how many are in the pile. Not a chance, But then again I don't have to buy my underware at Kmart.

phrases like "1MB L2 Cache" and "SSE3" are powerful marketing tools.. you can really blame the uninformed/gullible

Yeah, Precsott sales are better than Northwood, it's no surprise.

n00bs are main customer of Intel, and they love bigger numbers

I nearly got a 2.8E simply because my board doesn't support vCore above 1.60v! Of course, I was waiting for a D0 stepping core on the S478.

Hmm, me wonders what's better given my vCore limit, a 2.8C at 3.2GHz, or a 2.8E at 4.0GHz....
