Present configuration is - Intel Pentium P4 Processor, ZOTAC GeForce GT 210 1GB DDR3 Graphic Card, 1.5 GB Ram.

Above configuration supports full HD videos?

Which one is better processor, Intel Platinum P4 processor or Celeron D processor.

I'm planning to buy Celeron D processor for full HD videos viewing.

Thanks,

GPU acceleration isn't strictly required, but your CPU is likely not fast enough, and when the GPU doesn't take over the processing, it will be slow and choppy.
In my own opinion, I would go with the Pentium. Not only does it have a higher clock speed but also double the L2 Cache (From 256KB to 512KB) compared to the Celeron. The graphics performance would still be pretty much the same so dont expect that much from gaming (bet ya dont do dat). An upgrade on your graphics card would really help out in your video editing considering the fact that you have a GT 210. Think about upgrading the graphics card.

Someone else might have a better opinion so might as well wait for more suggestions
