Ya so I accidently hit the CMOS rest button on the back of my mobo and now my RAID 1 that has all my files says its completely empty.

But when i go into the BIOS it says that RAID 1 is still there and windows still recognizes the two drives as 1 drive.

However, windows shows that it's empty.

I used Recova to recover and backup all the files on the drive on to my external hard drive.

But windows says the drive is empty and I cannot view or see anything in theree through windows explorer.

Any thoughts?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

How did you create your RAID array? Using software or hardware? Given how this is a RAID 1 array, even of one of your drives is dead or missing, the data should be mirrored, meaning you haven't lost anything. Are you sure it's a RAID 1 array and not a RAID 0 array?

yes it is a mirrored RAID 1.

I created the array in the BIOS.

I have an Asus Maximus Formula XI.

My OS is windows 10 and is installed on a M.2 hardrive.

The RAID 1 array is where I had all my files. Windows explorer says its completely empty.

thanks
