Pressing escape changes windows.

Not really sure how it gets turned on, but apparently my keyboard has this feature that if turned on, pressing escape changes my windows. Also pressing other keys does other things that I don't want it to. I believe 2 opens up a tab pined to the bar on the bottom. Does anyone know how to turn this feature off? The only way I've found is to reset my computer, which becomes very annoying.

That's not standard Windows behaviour so check for the presence of a third-party keyboard utility & uninstall it.
If no such utility is installed, the keyboard may be faulty so try a different one to prove whether or not that is the case ( a rather obvious thing to try before posting I would have thought).
