Pressing keys opens their shortcuts

I don’t know if my control is broken or not but whenever I open google I press w or any key and instead of typing it just does it’s short cut. Like if I press f it’s like I pressed ctrl+f.

Same thing happens on the on-screen keyboard. When I restart my computer it’s fine for 2mins and then it goes back to it. If someone knows what to do please help.

Edit/Update: in onscreen keyboard it says that ctrl is being held down. I unplugged my keyboard and restarted and still says ctrl is being held down.

Edit/Update 2: Restarted computer and for a bit the Ctrl bug wasn't there. to make sure it didn't pop up I thought it was sticky keys. I saw Sticky keys was disabled so I enabled then disabled it again. when I applied the disabled I clicked OK then my computer froze for a second then the Ctrl bug was there. showing on my onscreen keyboard.

Have you tried cleaning the keyboard? Is the “start” button on your keyboard stuck?

I cleaned the keyboard and the start button isn't stuck. Still happening.

Try going to Start / Settings / Control Panel / Accessibility Options /Keyboard Options. If CTRL lock is on, turn it off

Is keyboard options in the Make the keyboard easier to use setting?
