I have ordered a LED monitor (IPS panel). Before I even put that monitor to use I could see pressure marks on my screen which are not a hindrance when I turn on the monitor but only when I turn off the screen I can see that mark in the middle of the screen which is just a light mark which I feel is most likely caused due to packaging.

I say that this mark could likely caused by packaging because I had received a monitor with dead pixels on it which amazon replaced. That first monitor also had the same mark at the same place. This current screen is a replacement from the previous one. So, both the monitor had those marks.

Is there anything that can be done to get rid of those marks? I also read in the user manual that I should not apply any liquid on the screen (like rubbing alcohol and so on) so dont know what to do.

Solution
I found the solution while writing this post. simply take a dry smooth cloth and blow some hot air from your mouth onto it and GENTLY rub onto the screen. that did it for me. you need to rub it for about 3-4 minutes.
