I have a webcam straight from 2000s, worked fine on WXP, as far as I know!
I dug it out for full-time use, but quickly encountered a problem!
Its insanely difficult to make to work in W7!
Even if I got a right drivers...which is interesting!
Can someone help me out?
Webcam: Genius VideoCAM Slim USB 2!

Solution
I cant find any particularly genuine looking sources for a drive but, assuming you've been able to track them down - you can run in compatibility mode.

Right click on the .exe file (to install the drivers) and under compatibility, select the appropriate OS (if they were known working on XP, try those drivers in compatibility mode for XP)

Failing that, buy a new webcam. There are really (really!) cheap options, such as:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA67038V9565&cm_re=webcam-_-9SIA67038V9565-_-Product

But you'll probably find driver support lacking.

Something from a known brand with support, such as a Logitech option...

$16. With driver/software support through to Windows 10 here: http://support.logitech.com/en_ca/product/webcam-c110

New camera recommended. Getting old hardware to work without up to date drivers is a chore. If you can track down the hardware inside the camera, you might find a compatible driver from the manufacturer of the CCD. However, given the not so famous brand, my guess would be you are out of luck.
