[SOLVED] prevent mouse buttons from overriding each other

I got a new mouse today with some nice new buttons including a tiltable mouse wheel. so my mouse wheel can be pressed down like normal but also tilted left and right for more input options. problem is: when trying to just press the mouse wheel down its very easy to tilt click it as well which overrides the middle click input with the tilt click input. Aside from having the tilts mapped to do nothing is there any way i can stop this? preferably something that limits only the tilt buttons to not be able to override other inputs. The mouse is the razer naga trinity and the Synergy software it comes with seems to not be the best in the first place but ive got to deal with it i guess.

Taking it back is another option, don't rule that out. By all means give yourself a few days to see if you can get used to it. I don' think there is a fix aside from mapping them to do nothing.

Honestly I would not have a wheel that tilts and I would get a different mouse if it didn’t work

I can imagine a mouse wheel That tilts would not be very durable
