Hey guys,

I recently bought a USB Hub ( https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08LV1Z5C5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) and I've attached it to the back of my monitor ( https://www.amazon.co.uk/LG-UltraWide-35WN73A-Curved-Monitor-21/dp/B088LNHMZP ) through one if its own USB ports. My laptop is connected using a Type C connector to the monitor. I have 2 USB ports on my monitor where one is used for my iPhone charger and the other for my USB Hub. The USB hub has my peripherals connected: Razer Huntsman Elite ( 2 Ports ) as well as my Razer Deathadder v2 ( 1 port ).

Every 5-10 minutes, my mouse and keyboard just turn off and then takes 3 seconds for it to come back on. I'm on a Razer Blade 15 Base Model and it's on Windows 10. I would connect my USB hub to the razer blade but as I need to take out my laptop every now and then, I'd rather just plug in one cable and be ready to go.

Any advice / help ?

Solution
Could be because of power bandwidth. Adding to many usb devices to a hub and having that hooked up to 1 usb splits the power bandwidth. Try a powered usb hub.
