I wanted to build a PC but never got around to finishing it. With me going off to college I need to just get rid of unused parts sitting around in my room.
I'd appreciate a price appraisal for each part individually. Please and thank you!

Motherboard: Asus M4A87TD Evo
PSU: Rosewill Stallion Series RD500-2DB
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965
GPU: Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 6850 1GB
RAM: Kingston Technology HyperX 8 GB
HDD: Western Digital Blue WD1600AAJS 160GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache

Solution
I would say the above quote is quite high. The PII x 4 965 was released ~2007 for example. Here is what I'd offer for each, there is no way you will get anything close to the above...

Someone looking to purchase your parts is not going to pay full retails price either..

Motherboard: Asus M4A87TD Evo ($35)
PSU: Rosewill Stallion Series RD500-2DB ($25) -- Not a very reliable PSU
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 ($50) --I'm assuming that you are including the stock CPU cooler here.
GPU: Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 6850 1GB ($60)
RAM: Kingston Technology HyperX 8 GB ($40)
HDD: Western Digital Blue WD1600AAJS 160GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache ($10) --This HDD is scrap metal by today's stadnards, not very much value here...

You're looking at about $220...
So far I've seen on newegg and amazon prices range from...

Motherboard: Asus M4A87TD Evo ($103-$110)
PSU: Rosewill Stallion Series RD500-2DB ($50-$60)
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 ($64-$110)
GPU: Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 6850 1GB ($100-$139)
RAM: Kingston Technology HyperX 8 GB ($97-$135)
HDD: Western Digital Blue WD1600AAJS 160GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache ($25 - $67)

But someone correct me if I'm wrong

You're looking at about $220 worth of parts maybe $250 tops. Even if they are unused, they are old.

Solution

the reason you are seeing prices like that is because I'm 95% sure everything on that list isn't made anymore maybe except the RAM. Those prices you are seeing are just secondary sellers trying to gouge people on Amazon. I agree with the other guy who posted.
