Would anyone mind giving me a rough estimate on how much I could sell this build for? And would you suggest selling as a whole or selling the parts individually? thanks! https://pcpartpicker.com/list/w7ky9W
I don't understand your rationale for your question. If you are living in the US. the pcpartpicker site that you are using already tells you how much the computer is worth and how much all those parts are worth. and where to buy them.
So....
If you are asking how much you should expect for labor, that's another question.
well how old is it since he built it?
he needs to tell us for any informed decision.
edit:
right now for me:
cons:
212 evo cooler
antec 900 computer case
corsair CXM PSU
Those three If I were to buy his computer I would change those right away. I might use the PSU as a spare/tester, but not in my computer.
So for me 350 tops. And he better have a windows OS.

Oh, I'm sorry if I wasn't clear. I thought it was obvious that the parts are used, and implied that used parts depreciate in value. That website shows prices for new items. And I'm aware that there are website to see how much used parts go for, but it doesn't say whether they are selling at that price, so I thought I'd ask the fine computer experts at tom's hardware.
i usually look to pay around 60%/65% of what it would cost new
unless its very recent hardware then might go a little higher
Thanks, I figured it would go for somewhere between 500-700 as a whole, maybe a bit more individually as supahos mentioned. And yeah it is about 1.5-2 years old darth.
