Price difference Strix vs Expedition

In the UK a well known computer store is selling the Asus 1060 6GB Strix graphics card for £329 and the Asus 1060 6GB Expedition Edition for £189 (it's cheaper than all their 1060 3GB cards).

This seems like an insanely good deal. Is it? Is there anything wrong with the Expedition series cards?

Neither the cooling, power delivery, nor base/boost clocks on the Expedition rival the Strix card....
BUT, at their core, they're both 1060, 6GB cards. For the price difference, the Strix model makes zero sense.

The Expedition will run a little warmer and remain clocked lower..... but the performance difference would be fairly minimal between the two
