i havent been in the magic scene for sometime. but i still have my old
cards lying around and tryin to sell them off. whats the market price
for birds of paradise anyway now ?

It depends.

I've seen between 10 and 15US, and that generally requires buying them
online.

Keep in mind that as they will not be reprinted in 9th edition (coming this
summer I believe), the price may drop a bit. If you are interested in
parting with them, now might be the time.

by which I mean, 10-15USD would be regarded as a "competitive" price.

Agreed. They will be printed with the set coming out in Oct, but then they
will be black-bordered, which many people prize over the white-bordered
variety.
