I don't know if it is a quirk of the current market situation, or with the quality of some of the GPUs themselves, but i can see some RX5600 XT and RX 5700 units for similar prices.

I have seen some RX5700 in my 300 euro price point, This ASUS being 290 after rebate. I have also seen the MSI Mech OC, and ASRock 5700 Challenger for 320.

This is solidly in the 5600XT price range, and cheaper than some of the better rated 5600XT models. I was wondering if it is better to go for this lower end 5700 card, or go for a more robust 5600xt?

For context i wont be doing super intensive gaming sessions. Just looking making a new gaming rig which will hopefully last a solid few years. Will be paired with a Ryzen 3500 btw.

Thanks for any thoughts!

Thanks for your thoughts! :)

So i had thought about this, but it seems i would be be looking at around 340 Euros for the RTX 2060. That makes it 50 Euro more than the Asus RX 5700 mentioned above, and 70 Euro more than some RX 5600 XT which can be found for 270 Euro.

I'm not sure whether the stability, quality of life is worth it for this price increase. With the RTX 2060 id also be getting 2GB less than the 5700.
2GB less or more is not as impact-full as the GPU itself. Its like to buy a Core 2 duo Cpu socked 775 with 32GB of ram and i7 9700k with 16GB...
The GPU is more important than 6 or 8GB of ram.... more ram doesn't mean performance... more powerfull GPU means performance!

RTX 2060 :D:D

No really.. 2060 should be better even if its more expensive in your country..
Quieter ,less power hungry, better overall and in some games +% performance.
