Price recommendation for selling this PC.

Computer Specs: ASUS Pre-Built 1.5 years old

CPU: i7-4770s 3.1gHz
GPU: gtx 750ti
16GB RAM (assuming DDR3)
Storage: 500GB SSD &2TB HDD
PSU: unknown at the moment


Buddy a mine is looking to sell this pre-built ASUS PC, and these are the specs that he was able to give me.

Selling WITHOUT PERIPHERALS he said he was hoping to get 700-800 CAD (559.35-639.26 USD)

Used this forum quite a bit when building my first PC and was wondering if anyone would have any thoughts or advice for him and for me aswell.

I figured he has 2 options

I told him he might have better luck if he threw a 1050 ti in, as it's a good improvement over the 750 ti and has dodged the etherium mining craze. This would allow him to get around the amount he wants (at least I think so)

Or he could strip it down and sell it for parts as the configuration (parts used) is kinda wonky due to it being a pre-built I believe. I figured he might have better luck selling the parts individually.

First time poster and am very eager to hear your guy's thoughts, will update specs and info as I get it, ask away.

He could probably get like $300-400 for that, depending on the quality of the psu. He wouldn't get the 600 he was looking for unless he got extremely lucky.
