Ah, which prices? I'm hoping Gas will come down as I have a 38 gallon tank to fill and get 14 MPG.

NV has dropped the list price for the 6800GT to $299 and the 6800 to $199. Yet it's all about street price, so we'll have to wait and see. The 6800GT should come down over time until it's 7xxx equivalent comes along.

6800U will disappear. The bargains will be 6800, 6800GT and 7800GT. Not sure when a 7800 vanilla will come out. X800XL is already $250 and pretty much performs on par with a 6800GT.

wont 6800 Ultra go down in price before it dissapears? and will Ati prices go down to compete with Nvidia? like the x850 line and x800 xt pe?

Ati's prices have already gone down and are way better than NV's have been. As far as the 6800U goes, it's more expensive than the faster x850xtpe, and who knows if it will just disappear or if prices will go down. IMO, Only people who should want a 6800U for over $350 are ones who are buying a matching SLI card.
