I have absolutely no idea how on earth to price an old gaming rig, so I'd love it if anyone could help me out (or point me in the right direction for an appraisal somewhere else). Here's the specs:

CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 975 Black Edition (OC'd to 4.1 GHz stable)
GPU: EVGA nVidia GTX 560 (non Ti)
Mobo: MSI 890FXA-GD70
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D14
Case: Cooler Master 932 HAF Advanced
PSU: Diablotek 600w PSU
LCD Touchscreen fan controller w/ temperature sensors

A few things to note:
1. Right now the computer has no hard drive or solid state drive because I pulled the previous ones out and put them into my newer build. I'd rather just let the buyer purchase their own storage than put my own in there.
2. I know Diablotek is a horrible brand and I'm almost wary of even selling that PSU to someone (even though it hasn't died after years of usage).
3. The case is a little dinged up with some noticeable scratches, but its still in working condition and I have most of the parts that I have removed.

Thanks in advance!

It has no HDD so the guy has to buy a new one and he has to get a new OS. thats 150$ already

I may be selling it up at my school (Carnegie Mellon) at which Microsoft gives away Windows 7 keys for free.

I don't really think so. If he was parting it out *maybe* someone who desperately needed just the CPU would pay that, but for a whole system why pay 130 for that when you can get something like a 4350 thats better in every way, for like 75 new? Maybe 50 on ebay?
Same thing with the GPU, 650ti boosts can be had for like 40 dollars on ebay. Where does that leave this card?
Problem is that anyone reading this can easily surpass this setup for 350 dollars, much better components, and they will be much newer (you have to figure some of these parts are approaching the end of their lives).
And of course people who just want a cheap used PC that they dont' have to build wouldn't want this either because this isn't ready to go, it needs a HDD, an OS, new PSU, etc.

You don't do resell much do you, go price a Phenom II X4 975 right now on Ebay or any Tech forum and you will get $90 and up it is still a good chip and being stable at 4.1ghz means he got one of the better binned chips as well. You will not find a 650TI on eBay for $40 they Average $60 and up as for the rest of the system $120 is a good price. This is why I gave him a range, go price everything yourself. I can give the OP several Tech Forums that he can Sell or Part out the System on should he not be able to sell it.

First result that came up on ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ASUS-GeForce-GTX-560-TI-448-Cores-1280-MB-GDDR5-/291490900974?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43de362bee

560ti (his is the non ti version mind you so this is actually a better card) for 40 dollars.
965 CPU (200Mhx slower) for 50 dollars:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/AMD-Phenom-II-X4-965-3-4-GHz-Quad-Core-HDZ965FBK4DGM-Processor-/301660136979?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item463c586613

But this is irrelevent, he isn't parting it out, he is selling it as a whole system so why would anyone pay 350 for a whole system with an old and busted case, no hard drive, no psu, no operating system, when they could get a better system that includes all that for the same price?

This is what I could make in a Week on Teck forums in Trades or Cash for the following.

LCD Touchscreen fan controller w/ temperature sensors $30
Phenom II x4 975 Black Edition $90
MSI 890FXA-GD70 $60 FX CPU CAPABLE With Bios Flash
RAM ???? Unknown Size and Type DDR3 1333 or better to sustain that Overclock 4gb $30 8GB $40 or more
EVGA GTX 560 (non Ti) $40
Noctua NH-D14 $50 or more
Case and Power supply $50
-----------------------------
$350-$360

Go look up a $375 system from Wal Mart or Best Buy you don't get much for you money this is actually faster than what you will find. I make a lot of money off reselling PC Parts or building Cheap budget systems for Local kids so don't take my word on it.

This is the System I just sold for $550 2 weeks ago and part of which I based his price on.

Phenom II x4 965 Black Edition

1 TB WD Black "$15 Yard Sale"
