Kudos to AMD continuing to release AM4 chips for budget builders, instead of just scrapping dies that didn't quite meet the criteria for a higher SKU. The less E-Waste the better.

Socket AM4 is going to end up a legend for as long as its stuck around.

Am curious as to the 5700x3D (if its liek the 5800X3D just with bit slower clocks w/ less power draw would be a killer gaming cpu for price as wont have 5800's thermal issue)

I second this. The performance difference between a Ryzen 1300 and a 5800X3D is astronomical, it's amazing they can use the same motherboards.
