I recently bought my first laptop after using a desktop forever and the laptop I bought has two integrated graphics processors. The primary is a Radeon R7 M260X with
Memory Size - 512 MB
Memory Type - DDR4
Memory Clock - 933 MHz
Core Clock - 758 MHz
Total Memory Bandwidth - 29 GByte/s
Memory Bit Rate - 1.87 Gbps

And the linked igp is a Radeon R7 M440 with
Memory Size - 4096 MB
Memory Type - GDDR5
Memory Clock - 1000 MHz
Core Clock - 920 MHz
Total Memory Bandwidth - 32 GByte/s
Memory Bit Rate - 4.00 Gbps

Now shouldn't the M440 be able to run most pc games? Also it seems that all of the games I have tried are running off of the M260x which is giving me only about 10 fps on very low settings on most games.
Is there a way to get the M440 which is linked to run the games instead of the M260x?
I have already set all my power settings to performance and the windows power save mode disabled.
Please help!

Which laptop do you have specifically? Both are discreet GPUs AFAIK .... although the M260X is spec'd like an onboard GPU.

One should be onboard, the other discreet. Your laptop should 'switch' between them, as graphics requirements dictate (ie idle at desktop = onboard, launch a game = discreet kicking in).

Do you have the latest AMD Radeon drivers installed? Part of those should be a 'control suite', which would give you a little more control over things.
