Prime Day SSD Deals

I am looking to grab a Prime Day deal on an SSD about 480-500GB, for a laptop that will be used mainly for MS Office and some internet browsing. The main things I want for her is fast boot and program startup and something that is not going to drive me nuts with problems getting Win10 installed and running. It will be a new clean install. I see there are some starting under $100 and go up another $20 or so. Do you guys have any recommendations for models to stay away from? or brands to stay with? Others I missed are fine too.

I have only used the Samsung in the past but I haven't seen them marked down much today. Here are some of the ones I see, some of which I am not familiar at all.

For your purposes just go with the cheapest one.
None of them are really bad.

I don't like amazon for PC parts, their stuff is overpriced and always marked up then marked down, terribly organized, can't be filtered, etc.

Get whicever you can get cheaper out of this and this, the PNY beeing the slightly better drive, but not that it really matters for your use.

Mushkin is on par with the Adata. teh PNY has a newer, better controller, so it's superiour.
That being said, thay are all viable options.

The Mushkin is $96.99 and the PNY is $113.99. Any guesses if its $17 better product? The $17 won't kill me but like everyone else, it won't hurt to leave it in my pocket. I have no idea about the technicas of either one of them.

Yes it is a $17 better product. I would get it. 3 year warranty with unlimited TBW(terra bytes write) while mushkin makes no mention of warranty whatsoever, which seems odd. Plus, the Phison controller on it is superiour.

If you think it's worth it, I'll give it a go. But just FYI, Mushkin warranty support claims to be three years with a TBW limit. I have no idea if it's a high or low limit so I will just post the link instead of screwing it up. http://poweredbymushkin.com/index.php/support/support?id=55

I went with the PNY. It should be showing up tomorrow but it may be next week before I can get to it. Ill let you know how it works out.
