I always was a bit complainy of how hot my cpu was, today it got a bit too much when I tested it on prime95 it was over 72. I reapplied thermal paste and now it's around 64.8C max. Isn't 65 bit too much for non overclocked cpu ?
I believe my case has decent airflow, three fans in the case.
I use Wraith cooler with fx 8370.

What do you guys think? Isn't it bit too much ? maybe I applied thermal paste incorrectly. I used pea size trick. Or maybe I seated heatsink incorrectly ? but I don't think so. I just have no idea why I face this problem.
I believe room temperature is around 23c

Solution
Seems fine. If it continues to rise, that suggests you don't have enough case airflow - the heatsink itself should stabilize within a few minutes if it's being fed cool air.
I wouldn't worry about temps in an artificial stress test, unless that's what you're actually going to be doing with your computer all the time. Most cars will overheat if you run them at the redline for a while too, but it's a non-issue because nobody does.

I see, though I can definitely say that after reapplying my average temp has improved vastly, before it was around 40-50 now its 35-45. I'll do further testing and report it here.
