I've been searching and can't find the right answer. Are you supposed to leave your computer alone when stress-testing with Prime95 or can you go about doing your thing on the computer? One or two workers have a hardware fail and stop after a few minutes when I start browsing the internet. Is that normal?

Your CPU will be running at 100% usage in Prime95. If you try to do other work, you will just disrupt the stress test. Best to leave it run alone and maybe have a temp pgm active to monitor core temps.

It's also not a good idea to "go about doing your thing" because if your overclock is unstable, you could potentially lose data if your system crashes.

As for the Hardware Failure on two of the workers, that's not normal. It's possible to use other programs such as internet browsers and they won't effect the stress test apart from slowing it down a little. If you're workers are stopping due to Hardware Fail, then something in your system is unstable.
