I'm sick of not being able to print when the printer decides i'm low on ink, I still have ink! I switched back to an older cartridge and it printed two sheets then quit again. is there a way around this? I have a HP C5280 this is my last HP product, I've had them all!

Some printer cartridges have a small window that shows the ink level, I guess a sensor in the printer reads that.
If this is your case, some people have tricked the sensor by taping something opaque on that window.
It depends on the printer make/model. I know it works for some Brother printers, I am not sure if it does for HP, but worth a look into it.
