My stepmother has an old computer that works fine, but it is running
Windows 95. I would like to add a printer like a Canon i560, but it
does not seem to come with a Windows 95 driver.

Will the W98 driver work? Do we need a fancy driver at all, since she
will be doing only basic printing?

According to the Canon website the Win98/ Me driver will work for Win95.
The software that comes with the printer will only work with Win 98 and
above.Easy Photo Print etc.

Double-check the port used. Win95 does not support USB. Win95B with a
patch (aka Win95C) sort-of supports it, but alot of USB software require
Win98 as the minimum.

Otherwise, for a parallel port, most Win98/ME drivers will work with
Win95. Just don't complain to Canon if they don't, as Win95 has not been
supported by MS for several years now.
