Print server for multi-function machines?

I have an OfficeJet G85 multi-function which I would like to connect to my
network via a print server. Currently it's shared through the computer, but
I'd prefer not to have to keep the computer on all the time.

Does anyone know of a print server that will work with a multi-function
machine (and allow the other scan/faxing features to work)? From what I've
gathered reviewing different posts on the subject, most print servers only
allow printing on a MFP (and not any of the other stuff).

Thanks for any feedback on this. I appreciate it.

I believe the network enabled G95 is functionally a G85 with a Jetdirect
included. The Jetdirect 170x can be found on eBay for $70 or so the last I
looked. See

for a list of compatible Jetdirect servers.
