Printer and retaining documents

Hi.
If I turn in the printer to service can
the servicepeople see what I have written out?
It is a canon pixma printer.

Probably not really. They'd have to look pretty hard to find any information.

Ok, but isnt there something about that the printer head can be taken out?

The only way any document remnants will be left is in the cache memory, where the PC sends the data for the document before it is printed. Nothing will be stored on any of the parts that actually physically print.

Someone would have to be determined to find this data. If you're so worried just destroy it.
