Printer choice help please

Hi, My Epson Stylus Photo 810 has just packed up and needs to be replaced.
Can anyone suggest a similar printer that gives similar results.

I did some research at www.pcmag.com and www.pcworld.com and
www.whatpc.co.uk in picking my printer. That will probably work for
you too. PC World is especially good, with its "how to shop" or "how
to buy" guides.

You might find that "similar to my old printer" is no longer the
best choice given the range of what's available today.

I've got nothing but praise for my Canon i865. The print quality is
good, customer service from Canon is superb (compared with my
experiences with HP in the UK) and the cartridges are good value and
can be refilled. After using only HP printers for 10 years, I've never
looked back (sorry HP).

Oh, the Canon i865 can be had for £100, which is good considering I
paid £185 when it first came out.

I think you wouldn't be disappointed by any of the modern Canon
inkjets.

Try Canon i865 (UK) or i860 (USA)

If you want a good four color printer, try the Canon i865. If you want the very
best (for the money, the i960 (i965?) six color printer is fast and produces
great photo prints. My canon S900 (two generations back) was at least 4Xs as
fast as my prior Epson 900.
