Printer compatibility

Hello,
I have just purchased a new toshiba laptop and connected to an HP PSC 1507 All in One and am having printing problems. It is printing over to the right, Not printing the contents of letters only the header. These problems are so frustrating. I have not had these problems before. I am trying to print out attachments from gmail and getting nowhere.

Can you please assist
