Printer driver

I have successfully used older HP drivers with new printers, but the driver must support the connection type: parallel or USB. If you can find an old HP LaserJet printer driver that supports a USB printer on Win98 you might be home free, but the older driver might only support lower resolutions and few if any advanced features.

If you cannot find an old driver that supports USB, then the only thing that MIGHT work is to connect the printer to a newer Windows PC that has the proper driver installed, share it, and install an older Laserjet driver on Win98.
