Printer Gamma 1.8 or 2.2 R300 Epson

By default my printer driver sets up to use 1.8 gamma. Which is odd because
I thought Windows used 2.2. Should I be using 2.2 or 1.8? Is this an epson
bug?

I thought it was referring to the gamma of the paper...?
