Question printer IP address always being changed

Hi, on my home wireless network, one of my printers is often found to be offline due to its IP address somehow being changed. This seems to happen after power interruptions to the printer. How can I fix this? My router does not allow changing DHCP settings for items on the network. It was provided by my ISP.

Change the range of the ISP router DHCP range to start at .5. Set up a static IP on the printer at .4. Change all port mappings on the systems to the .3 IP. Done.

What is the model of the router? You may need to change some DHCP setting in your router...

Judging by his post, I think he already checked for dhcp reservations and it doesn't have the option (I've seen this before).

What I am thinking is that the DHCP RANGE may need to be reduced to ensure no IP conflicts ...

OK sorry, I went back into the router interface and was able to find a setting where I can set a static IP address for the printer, it was set to dynamic. I didn't see this setting before. All is good except as per usual the ink is out.
