How do I switch printer to online, from offline. Several jobs stored and printer says offline.

How do I switch printer to online, from offline. Several jobs stored and printer says offline.

The "usual" solution is:

1. Go to the System Preferences (from Doc, Apple Icon, etc)

2. Select the Print & FaX Icon, to show the system's printers, then,

3. Highlight the chosen printer, then select the (little tube) window labelled "Open Print Queue",

4. You should find the top bar with a set of Icons <Delete, Hold, Resume, Pause Printer>

5. Click on "Resume" on the printer Icon Printer" ....

5a. (If the "Resume" Icon is hazed out, the printer is disconnected),
> If a USB connection, check the cable, and
Do 5. "Resume" again

That is the way it is supposed to work
