Recently my Tech put my PC back to factory settings as he thought I had a virus.When I tried to install my printer again Windows 7 rejected the software disc,whats the problem?

Do other CD's read from the drive ?

Yes,When I put the disc in up comes message,XThe version of this file is not compatible with version of windows you are running.Check your comp system info to see whether you need x86(32 bit) or x64 (64 bit)version of prog then contact software publisher.X I am running 64 bit version.
