Question Printer recommendation

Based on a recommendation (not here) I purchased an HP Envy Photo 7855 all in one. My printing needs are very sparse, but when I need a document printed I don't want to have to coax the printer into printing.

It seems every time I need to print (perhaps a couple of times per month) the cartridges are clogged, but I don't get acceptable copies. When the printer works, it prints great I have to say. I suppose I could just keep a fresh cartridge handy when every I need to print something.....not a good long term solution.

That being said, I have really had enough of this unacceptable process; is there a reasonably priced printer/scanner/fax that will print when I need something printed, even if that occurs only sporadically?

Ink dries/cloggs if not used regularly. A cheap laser printer is preferred. I use a HP Laserjet M1212nf MFP, but I doubt they are still made. Check what is available where you live.

Thanks for the replies....an all in one laser - a definite possibility.
Reasonably priced: ~ $200+/-
Although haven't priced any printer in a while....

Thanks for the suggestions and replies.
What I may do is for the amount of printing I actually do, it may make sense to purchase the smallest black cartridge ($20) each time I need to print if the installed one doesn't work.
Might work for a while....
