Printer shuts down when PC goes to sleep

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction, I got a MFC-9325CW Brother laser printer that I have connected through usb to a Windows 7 desktop. The problem is when I put the desktop into sleep mode it turns the printer off. I have hooked this printer to an xp laptop, put it in sleep mode and the printer stays on, so not sure if it is a driver issue or if it a setting in Windows 7. The is an all in one unit so we want to be able to use it to make copies and send out faxes without having to turn the desktop on every time.

Check the setup page in the software. The manual has not details about the usb configuration, but it list parameters like sleep timer and so on.
