Printer usage?

What printer is good for someone who prints a few times a year or less and doesn't dry ink

I currently have a HP OfficeJet 3830 All-in-One but since I rarely print, the ink is dried out (black and color)

Go with a cheap laser.

I bought the cheapest possible Brother black and white laser in 2007.

About 60 dollars on sale if I recall.

I'm not sure what you'd have to pay for a cheap color laser today.

I am still using the original toner cartridge 16 years later.

Zero issues.

I have printed maybe 400 pages in 16 years. I sometimes go a year without printing anything. It just sits there under a typewrite dust cover...which may help it's longevity.

If you rarely print, then then only solution here is to get either a laser printer or an LED one. i.e., one that doesn't use any ink. The moment you open the ink cartridge, it starts drying out.

Other option, if you are in the US, is your local OfficeMax, Kinkos, or similar.

For printing "a few times a year", that may be cheaper and easier.

Failing that, an inexpensive laser.
