More info?)
This is a brand new system, not an upgrade to an older operating system, so
the article you referred me to didn't help. The printer was never installed,
so I could not see any printers in the printer folder. Also I could not get
any information about the Printer server properties.
I could not even install a networked printer. The "Add Printer Wizard" was
somehow creating the problem, as I could never finish installing the printer
from the "New Hardware Found" wizard, either. Whenever I re-booted, the
Hardware Wizard found the printer, but every time it would give me the same
error. I even tried to cancel the Hardware Wizard, and install from the
Printer Wizard, but the Printer Wizard would never start.
I finally used the System Restore to fix the problem.
