The user guide only gives the unprintable margins, nothing more. Epson TS
have been useless. I have an SC900, but I'd like to do them on the R800
because the ink won't run if it rains!

I was told to feed from the front, like I would do if I was printing to a
CD. Trouble is, it prints right at the right hand side, and the address is
smeared and illegible. Could someone please tell me how to set the envelope
wizard in Word so this works (i.e. I get the address in the middle of the
envelope), as well as the settings in the driver, and for the output tray.
*SOMEONE* must have successfully printed envelopes on an R800!

The other thing is it always smears a little bit of ink on the leading edge
(despite me having the 'thick paper and envelopes' setting on).

I am printing from both Word and Publisher (both 2003, if that makes a
difference).

Thanks!

Ignore. I've done it. I am now emailing the drone's team lead with a
complaint because he was completely incompetent. Why it didn't work the
first time, I've no idea.

You don't feed the envelopes from the front. They go in like a regular
sheet of paper. Word is strange so I just cut up some sample sheets of
paper and notice which way it prints. It isn't the printer, its Word.
