Question Printing Error

We have 3 computers connected in a n/w. Two are sharing a Canon printer while one has a dedicated printer. Sometimes printing error message is displayed in the computers sharing the Canon printer. We then have to cancel printing and turn off and on the Canon printer. What to do to avoid this?
