Hi all,

I've been dealing with a strange issue in the office. When I try to print something on both sides of the paper, it flips the document on short edge, therefore the second page is upside down.

This happens regardless of the user software (Acrobat DC, Acrobat Reader, MS Word...).

I'm connected to a Wi-Fi printer Brother MFC-L8690CDW. The other employees don't have this issue with the same printer.

I tried the following:
  • Set the document to be flipped on long edge in Acrobat
  • Checked the printer settings, didn't find anything that would cause to flip on short edge by default
  • Set to flip on long edge by force in the printer settings! Still no help!
Any idea why this could be happening? I'm checking Windows Update regularly, so I should have the newest
drivers.

I'm lost here... Thanks in advance for any tips.

There should be an option to change the orientation. In the printer properties (or print setup in an application) near the duplex printing option there should be a check box for "flip pages". There may also be a pulldown box for different duplex printing options. Your specific printer may word the options differently. BUT it should be in your printing preferences near the duplex printing selection.
