Printing with 1200 DPI

Hello,

i am using Windows 7 64-bit but whenever i install printer i am able to print page with only 300 and 600 DPI. Is this a software problem or what?

i have HP 2300 dn and i was able to print 1200 DPI when i was using WIndows XP. is it due to 64-bit WIndows?

See if you can find a PCL6 driver from HP's website for the printer.

i have tried several drivers but still maximum resolution is 600 DPI? is there any solution to it?
